Welcome to TCD Dad Committee ! 

 

The TCD Dad Committee is a brotherhood of committed fathers and father figures dedicated to developingour young men both on and off the field. This committee exists to provide consistent male leadership, mentorship and accountability for our athletes. 

 

Each week, members of the committee will huddle with the boys during the final practice of the week for a focused 15-minute talk (prior to the ending of practice) centered on life lessons - discipline, respect, accountability , teamwork, academics, etc. These moments are designed to provide a safe space for our young men to talk about any challenges as well as reinforce lessons being taught. 

 

The committee will also plan and lead two character building experiences per season such as team outings, community service projects, college visits, or recreational trips. These experiences are meant to broaden the young athletes perspectives and create lasting memories beyond the game. 

 

This committee is not about coaching - it's about presence, guidance and example. By showing up consistently for our athletes, we help them understand what it means to be men of character, integrity, and purpose.
